RADAR #2 MANS O

The exhibition “AI: Artificial Intelligence” provided the opportunity to invite artists MANS O and Joan Sandoval to the CCCB to present their performance experimenting with algorithms, nuevo_algo_ritmo.ckpt. Through this project, they “raise the curtain” to reveal, via image, sound and choreography, how the algorithms many people use in an automated and uncritical manner actually work. MANS O plays with teleporting from the stage to other spaces, while making a statement about his understanding of the creative process. Collaboration with other artists, improvisation, the organic blending of techniques and disciplines and a critical perspective on technology are all integral to his artistic DNA.
