On the fringe of politics
Audiovisuals
Three titles constituting a little visible area of Venezuelan cinema. The authors create intense, exquisite images which surpass realism. Araya, by Margot Benacerraf, shows us the life of a community of salt workers where everything is repeated infinitely and without conflict. El Embrujo, by John Petrizzelli, uses the account of a young waitress and the images of an abandoned beer house to build a love story.
