Médecins Sans Frontières brings together musicians, composers and performers to create the original soundtrack for the photographic coverage of humanitarian crises in which the organization works.
In this new edition of the event, Chica Sobresalto, Magalí Sare, Pau Figueres, Vic Moliner, Magalí Datzira, Alberto Fernández and Agnès Algueró have been inspired by the work of photojournalists such as Greta Rico, Mahka Eslami, Nyancho NwaNri, Florent Vergnes, Johnson Sabin, iAko Randrianarivelo and Asim Hafeez. As a result, Médecins Sans Frontières has created seven new video covers that blend music and photography.
These original works will be presented in an immersive event featuring live musical performances, a dance performance with Júlia Sanz, and short dialogues on the different themes addressed by the photographic coverage with the pediatrician Irene Pérez and Paula Gil, President of Médicins Sans Frontières- Spain, amongst others. Also, the composer Núria Andorrà and the editor Sara de la Rubia will create a live piece with the participation of the public and the photographs of Ricardo García Vilanova.
This activity is promoted by Médecins Sans Frontières, its project EnfocAH and the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB).
