Courses and workshops

On the 200th anniversary of its creation, Mary Shelley’s classic is more relevant to us than ever. Biogenetics and artificial intelligence among other scientific fields are drawing us closer to Doctor Frankenstein’s dream (nightmare?) of defying nature and God by creating life. What myths did Shelley base her work on, and what mutations of her creature have the 20th and 21st centuries brought us?
