"In the Troubled Air..."
«In the Troubled Air...» for Blind and Partially Sighted Visitors
Adapted guided tour
Access
We accompany visitors through the exhibition and propose a series of sensorial experiences, and explanations and descriptions to explore the themes presented.
"In the Troubled Air..." showcases the transformative power of images and explores the way in which emotion has been represented in art. This exhibition by the thinker Georges Didi-Huberman invites us to live a poetic and critical experience, in a journey around 300 works by key figures of European culture. The exhibition can be enjoyed as a poetic promenade, an interplay of free associations between over 300 works by artists such as Brecht, Camarón, Colita, Dalí, Giacometti, Goethe, Goya, Hugo, Jahnsen, Lorca, Mercadier, Miró, Pasolini, Picasso, Rodin, Trouvé and Zürn. This personal selection by Didi-Hubermann includes photographs, paintings, sculptures, films, engravings, books, sketches, poems and pieces of music that have Lorca’s concept of duende as their leading thread.
The visit comprises descriptions of the space and museography, following the curatorial story and making tactile explorations of objects in the gallery or others created to complement the explanations. There are also readings of texts and auditory accounts of exhibited pieces, as well as audio descriptions that we have created for specific pieces.
