Tira, a lion tamer, is a powerful, fascinating, sassy, intelligent woman who seduces everyone around her. Her confidence is shaken when Cary Grant comes into her life as a millionaire playboy. But nothing will stop Tira. I’m No Angel is an example of the creative control of Mae West, one of the first female icons in the history of the cinema. As well as starring in the film, she wrote the screenplay and was involved in directing the film.
