eme3

5th Architecture Festival

Courses and workshops + Festivals

The Eme3 festival brings together thinkers, artists, students and professionals from architecture and other fields over a three day period, to reflect on, experiment with and discuss the new scenarios that have emerged in the aftermath of the crisis.

Eme3 operates like an architectural market, with installations shown in lots, urban projects, workshops, lectures, debates, street events, music and films.

The project is characterized by being interdisciplinary, across-the-board and interactive—that is, by an approach to architecture that looks beyond designing and constructing buildings to represent a place for the confluence of discourses and heterogeneous proposals, and addresses the public as an active user who takes part in the event.

The next iteration of eme3 sets out to conduct a critical analysis of the state of the discipline and to detect and map those places, within and beyond it, that present new practical possibilities, places where architects are taking on new roles and extending their field of action.
