The International Errorist movement, of which the creative collective Etcétera is part of, asserts that error is a philosophy of life and that beauty emerges from mistakes. The group suggests a workshop at this occasion where we will go over this concept and come up with ideas for working with young people from educational communities in socially vulnerable situations.
The first part of the workshop will delve into the "errorist" philosophy through a series of curated experiences in which the collective has been involved. Participants will explore an array of educational cultural encounters across public and institutional contexts, drawing from examples such as Etcétera's own recent initiatives like the collaborative labs "no-work, no-shop" and the international program "Errasmus Mundus," which challenges conventional education paradigms.
During the workshop's second phase, participants will engage in playful activities and collective imagination to share and envision various approaches to working with young people in contexts of social vulnerability.
The workshop will last for three hours, during which it is expected to generate a space for reflection, exchange of ideas, and exploration of new perspectives in the field of critical pedagogy and art as tools for social transformation.
The workshop is aimed at a general audience, with a particular focus on mediators, educators, and teachers who are interested in developing projects with cultural institutions.
