Now in its fourth season, BCNmp7 continues to offer alternative takes on the present-day music scene and new concerts that illustrate the fusions and frictions affecting various musical genres.
In 2009, BCNmp7 kicks off with the Emergency Fest, a session that showcases the latest work by upcoming groups on the national and international scene. Jeremy Jay (USA), Joe Crepúsculo (Barcelona), Marina Gallardo (Cadiz), Nudozurdo (Madrid) and El Nota (Barcelona), with a group of extemporizers (Arnau Sala, Mark Cunningham, Rafael Romero, Juan Damico, Israel Marco and Adrián de Alfonso), show the new musical languages that are upcoming.
