BAFF 2006

Once again, the CCCB is the nerve centre of the Barcelona Asian Film Festival - BAFF, a festival that sets out to present to the public a selection of the most recent film productions to come out of the Asian continent. This year's guest country is India.

With last year's audience figures of in the region of 17,000 spectators, the Barcelona Asian Film Festival has scheduled over 50 full-length features, plus programmes of short films, animation and documentaries. The vast majority of the productions presented at the BAFF are screened in 35 mm, in the original version with subtitles. This year presents the habitual sections: Official Section, AS-Asian Selection, D-cinema, Special Sessions and Animation.
