Documentary on the eccentric author of the animation in some of the legendary Frank Zappa's best video clips. Bruce Bickford is an outsider, an artist who has found his means of expression in claymation. The author of the film, the young Brett Ingram, humbly observes the subject and his milieu to create a portrait full of nuances, far removed from the typical "biopic"; a portrait that gradually moves towards Brickford's father, a figure possibly even more surprising than the protagonist himself.
