Brett Ingram

Filmmaker

Formerly an electrical engineer on the Space Shuttle Main Engine Program, Brett Ingram starting making films in 1990. He is the director of two documentary features, Monster Road (2004) and Rocaterrania (2009), and a dozen short documentaries and animated films. Ingram is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship (2007) and North Carolina Arts Council Fellowships in Visual Art (1995) and Filmmaking (2002). He has written articles on visual art, film animation, and media education, and is currently writing a book on the life and work of visionary illustrator Renaldo Kuhler. He teaches filmmaking at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
