To Imagine the World
A morning with Cesc Gelabert
Education
Cesc Gelabert proposes to secondary school students to take conscience of the tight bond between body, heart and mind.
When we speak of education, do we think of the body and the emotions? Of how bodily work influences our way of thinking, of feeling, and relating with others? In a time when reality is more and more virtual and subject to interference, and when communication frequently occurs at a distance, we progressively lose contact with reality and even with ourselves. The choreographer and dancer Cesc Gelabert will talk about the need to recover awareness of our bodies, the place where our hearts and minds reside. Drawing attention to the way we move, think, and feel, he brings us back to the reality of our existence and that of others, a crucial exercise for nurturing our wellbeing, our creativity, and collective life.
