World Press Photo 2022
Glances that reveal the world
Alongside the "World Press Photo 2022" exhibition, the EnfocAH project of Médecins Sans Frontières is organizing together with the CCCB a debate on the role of photojournalism in the war in Ukraine and an immersive experience that fuses photographic coverage and music.
EnfocAH is a humanitarian photography project to confront oblivion and silence. It looks where almost no one else looks and puts the spotlight on issues that are often neglected in the news. Its aim is to inspire and discuss debates and reflections not only on humanitarian photography, but also on other issues such as the limits and the ability of images and journalism to change the reality they denounce, the challenge of reporting against the excess of propaganda and fake news, the influence of social networks or the bias and stereotypes generated by the Western gaze when dealing with the realities of developing countries.
EnfocAH also promotes new narratives that merge formats, disciplines and languages beyond the usual media approach and seek an immersive experience. The two activities that will take place at the CCCB are framed in this context
