Since the birth of photography, architecture has been the artist’s staunchest ally. It is no accident that more and more artists are recreating the exteriors and interiors of iconic buildings through photography and a growing number of visual artists are working with architects. Indeed, there is probably no better metaphor for modernity and its changes in fortune than famous architectural landmarks.
