For a long time now we have lost the ability to listen to our environment and we have been moving away from contact with nature as the foundation of our growth. The unlimited use of resources that by definition are finite is demonstrably unsustainable, but we continue in a spiral of consumption that is an intrinsic part of the prevailing model of international development.
Amazonia is presented as one of the few places in the world where it is still possible to change this model. Although extractive processes are increasingly affecting the entire region with greater force, it is still possible to find places where we can learn new ways of relating to our environment, integrating the great diversity, natural, social, linguistic, cultural of the amazonic land to avoid the simplistic error that understands the region exclusively as a source of resources to exploit or as the last garden on Earth.
The catalog explores this rich diversity of the current Amazon, the plurality of Amazons that speak to us about our future, which, if it exists, may be ancestral.
