Exhibition catalogue. Presentation of the works of film-maker and photographer Johan van der Keuken, one of today's leading documentary makers. The author's subjective gaze takes us around some contemporary cities with a powerful metaphysical significance: La Paz, Jaipur, Amsterdam, Sarajevo and New York. At the same time, it is a witness to other, more personal stories, of bodies which stand up to the city and survive it, revealing its fragmentary nature.
