The publication presents the awarded works of the European Prize for Urban Public Space in the 2022 edition.
It includes the winning project, Catharijnesingel, from the Dutch city of Utrecht, the finalist works from Brussels, Riga, Toulouse, and the Norwegian city of Lund, as well as the twenty selected projects.
The book also offers a collection of reflections from the jury members of this edition. From their discipline and experience, each member reflects on the difficulties faced by European cities in the face of contemporary challenges, and in particular in the face of meteorological phenomena related to the climate emergency and on the need to rethink the way we build and live in cities.
