Xavi Sancho

Culture journalist

Xavi Sancho first saw Suede at the Estándar in Barcelona in 1993. The last time he saw them was at the Cruïlla Festival in 2013, a week before moving to Madrid to start his first journalism job in a 20-year career that allowed him to pay the rent without moonlighting. He has written for La Vanguardia, El País, SModa, Marie Claire and Todo gatos.

The biographies of participants in Primera Persona are written by Kiko Amat and Miqui Otero, the festival’s directors.
