Voltes Cooperativa d'Arquitectura
Cooperative specializing in various fields of architecture and urbanism: bioconstruction and sustainability, rehabilitation and citizen participation.
Its members believe in collective work and promote the active participation of all members of society in improving the built environment. To this end, one of its lines of work consists in combining architecture, education and urbanism in workshops, courses and talks to help create a critical way of thinking about the city.
They set out to teach children architecture and urbanism in their immediate everyday environment, from the point of view of ecology and nature, and also in an urban, social and cultural environment. They have accompanied various processes of transformation of school playgrounds, as well as public spaces and spaces for collectives or individuals, working with children, families and educators on the design and implementation of ephemeral or permanent structures, using criteria of sustainability and natural materials.
