Victori Cirlot Valenzuela

Professor of Romance Philology at the Faculty of Humanitie at the Pompeu Fabra University

Her areas of study are chivalry and mysticism in the Middle Ages, and comparative studies of the Middle Ages and the twentieth century. Notable among her recent publications are Grial. Poética y mito (siglos XII-XV) (Grail: Poetics and Myth (12th to 15th Centuries), Siruela, 2014), Luces del Grial (Lights of the Grail, Alpha Decay, 2017), Visión en rojo (Vision in Red, Siruela, 2019), and Ariadna abandonada. Friedrich Nietzsche trabaja en el mito (Ariadna Abandoned: Friedrich Nietzsche Works on the Myth, Alpha De-cay, 2021). She is director of the “Árbol del Paraíso” collection of the publishing house Siruela.
