Toni Vall

Born in Barcelona in 1979, he is a journalist and lecturer in Journalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and specialises in cultural journalism, especially in the domain of film. He writes and speaks about cinema in the magazines Cinemanía and Sàpiens, the daily Ara, the radio programme El món a Rac1, and the television programme Àrtic of the channel Betevé. He writes a cultural, social and political column in Ara and Nació digital, does interviews, writes articles about Barcelona, and appears as an analyst on television. He also writes for “La Llança” in El Nacional and in Sentit Crític. For ten years he was the film and television critic for the newspaper Avui and he has worked in other areas of the media including 8TV, Com Ràdio, Fotogramas, Serra d’Or and Televisió de l’Hospitalet. He is the author of a book of interviews with journalists, Les veus de la influència (Voices of Influence) and a book about the photographer Horacio Seguí La meva vida en un clic (My Life in a Click).
