Teresa Colom

Poet and writer

With a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Pompeu Fabra University, Teresa Colom began her literary career with the poetry books Com mesos de juny (Edicions del Diari d'Andorra, 2001), with which she won the Miquel Martí i Pol Prize from the Government of Andorra, and La temperatura d'uns llavis (Edicions del Diari d'Andorra, 2002). Since then she has been honored with several awards and has written collections of poems such as Elegies del final conegut (Abadia Editors, 2005) or La meva mare es preguntava per la mort (Pagès Editors, 2012). As a storyteller, in 2015 she published the book of short stories La senyoreta Keaton i altres bèsties (Empúries, 2016), which has been translated into several languages. Her first novel is Consciència (Empúries, 2019). She has also curated the Barcelona Poetry Week in 2015 and is currently the Director of the Ramon Llull Foundation of Andorra.
