Sònia Moll
A philologist and poet, she has worked teaching Catalan to adults and as a linguistic editor and advisor. She has written children’s books, among them L’últim estrip d’aire (The Last Ripping of Air, 1998), two collections of poems, Non si male nunc (Though Things Go Badly Now, 2008), and I Déu en algun lloc (And If God Is Somewhere, 2014), and also a collection of poetic prose pieces, Creixen malgrat tot les tulipes (All the Tulips Grow Despite Everything, 2013). Some of her poems have been set to music by Clara Peya, with whom she created the poetic recital Carta Blanca (Carte Blanche). She also writes on a regular basis for La Directa and has published several poems in the book La Catalana de Lletres (2005) as well as in the poetry review Caravansari.
