Silvia Cruz Lapeña

Silvia Cruz was born in Barcelona in 1978, and grew up in Córdoba. She learned to carry sacks of plaster and be a butcher, but her twofold vocation of writing and music (especially flamenco) won through. She writes for El País Semanal, El Mundo and Rockdelux, and published her highly personal Crónica jonda with Libros del K.O. publishers in 2017.
