Sergi Lozano

Sergi Lozano (Tarragona, 1976)

Ramón y Cajal Researcher at the Catalan Institute of Human Paleo-Ecology and Social Evolution (IPHES), where he coordinates the COMPATHEVOL (Complex Paths in Human Evolution) group. He was previously postdoctoral researcher at the Swiss Federal Technology Institute in Zurich (ETH – Zurich). An Engineer in Telecommunications (UPC), he holds a Master’s degree in Projects Management (UB) and a PhD in Sustainability, Technology and Humanism (UPC). His current research focuses on the study of long-term socioeconomic processes from a complex systems perspective.
