Said Zeedani

Lecturer in Philosophy and assistant to President for Academic Affairs at the University of Al-Quds (East Jerusalem).

Professor of Philosophy at the Al-Quds University, he has focused his research on Political Philosophy and Human Rights. Between 2000 and 2004 he was the director of the Palestinian Independent Commission for Citizen’s Rights (Ramallah). Until 1998 he was professor of Philosophy and Cultural Studies at the Birzeit University, where he also directed the UNESCO Chair in Freedom of Expression (1999-2000) and was dean of the Faculty of Arts (1995-1998).
