She studied Theatre Directing at the Adrià Gual School of Dramatic Art and Photographic Practice at Estudis Raphael (France) and also in London. In 1968 she began to work in Barcelona as a professional photographer with regular assignments for the magazines Serra D´Or, Destino, Triunfo, La Calle, Fotogramas and the daily El País. She also worked as a photographer with Montserrat Roig in several media outlets. As a photojournalist she has presented the Spanish Transition (to democracy), the feminist movement in Catalonia, and avant-garde theatre. In 2005, she received the prestigious Creu de Sant Jordi award from the Generalitat (Government) of Catalonia. Moreover, she has published books devoted to Montserrat Roig, Maria Aurèlia Capmany, Mercè Rodoreda, Frederica Montseny, and others, and has had more than sixty exhibitions.
