Paolo Giordano
Paolo Giordano was born in Turin in 1982 and studied Theoretical Physics. Aged just 26, he became Italy’s latest publishing phenomenon. The Solitude of Prime Numbers was honoured with several prizes, including the Campiello Opera Prima and the Strega 2008, Italy’s most important prize, as well as achieving unprecedented success for a novice author: it was published in 40 countries and over two million copies were sold in Italy alone. In Spain, it received the 2009 Readers Prize awarded by Qué leer magazine. Five years later, The Human Body, his second novel, was enthusiastically received in Italy and has already excited great expectations around the world. His third and much anticipated novel, Like Family, an intense work about a young, untried, happy couple will be published in Spain in 2015.
