Pablo La Parra Pérez

PhD in cultural studies from New York University, with a thesis on militant cinema. He currently is Coordinator of the Department of Research at Elías Querejeta Film School in San Sebastian and leads the research project “Zinemaldia 70: All Possible Histories”, launched by the San Sebastian International Film Festival. His research has been published in international journals such as Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies and volumes such as 1968 and Global Cinema (Wayne State University Press, 2018). In 2016, he directed the artistic research project “Europe, Future Past” in Tabakalera-International Center for Contemporary Culture.
