Nosa Eke

Screenwriter and Filmmaker

Nosa Eke is a platform-agnostic writer and director. While at the National Film and Television School, Nosa released the interactive digital series, The Grind, across different social media platforms. After writing a digital narrative for mobile, Nosa was spotlighted in the Apple app store in April 2018 as one of “Britain’s Next Level Gaming Talents”. In the same year she was picked as one of six for the BFI Flare/BAFTA mentorship programme while writing an episodic narrative on the Amazon Alexa for the BBC. Nosa was also chosen as a 2019 Trailblazer by Accenture for her work in the cross-section between technology and storytelling. Nosa has shadowed directors Destiny Ekaragha on Season 2 of The End Of The F***ing World and Wayne Yip on Doctor Who.

Her short film Something In The Closet premiered at the BFI London Film Festival 2019 where she was also chosen to be part of the Network@LFF programme; it was also selected for the BFI Flare Festival 2020. Nosa was a Film London Lodestar 2020, her debut AR feature film is in development with the British Film Institute and she has just directed TV show Big Age for Channel 4.
