Montserrat Franquesa Gòdia

Graduate of  Classical Philology and German Philology and holder of a doctoral degree in Translation. She has been working as a professor and translator from German, French and Modern Greek. She is co-author together with Joaquim Gestí of the Catalan version of the “Diccionari de mitologia grega  i romana de Pierre Grimal” (2008), a reference book which standardizes more than 3.000 proper names in Catalan. She is researcher of the Study Group on Contemporary Catalan Translation (GETCC) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, co-editor of Visat, a journal of Literary Translation of PEN Català.
