Michael W. Carroll
Professor of Law at the American University, Washington. He is a founding member of Creative Commons, and followed his legal research on Internet through issues such as the changing of perception about the legal contract derived from the recurring use of the “I agree” on the Internet. He is also director of the Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property, where he teaches and writes about intellectual property law and cyberlaw, member of the Board of the Public Library of Science and the Advisory Board of Public Knowledge, and Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Democracy and Technology.
