Matthieu Orléan

Is artistic associate in charge of temporary exhibitions at the Cinémathèque  Française. For the Cinémathèque, he curated the exhibition «¡Almodóvar Exhibition!», and co-directed the publications Renoir/Renoir and ¡Almodóvar Exhibition!. Since 1998 he has published articles on the cinema and the arts in the press (Cahiers du Cinéma, Trafic, Vertigo, Synopsis, Artpress, Libération, Purple, etc), and in various books (Autoportrait en cinéaste, Chantal Akerman and Raymond Hains-J’ai la mémoire qui planche, both published by the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Trésors Publics: 20 ans de création dans les Fonds régionaux d’art contemporain, Flammarion).
