Martina Millà

Martina Millà is head of exhibitions at the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona where she coordinates the Joan Miró Prize and is a curator and supervisor of temporary exhibitions, Espai 13, and photographic exhibitions related with the Joaquim Gomis Collection. In 1992 she obtained an MA at the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University and, in 2005 a PhD from the Art History Department at Emory University, Atlanta, where she had been enrolled since 1996. From 2015 to 2017, she was a member of the board of Hangar arts centre and is presently on the Executive Committee of the Barcelona Culture Council.
