Maribel Carod

Maribel Carod (Barcelona, 1978) is an illustrator, current affairs cartoonist and comic book author.

She regularly collaborates in El Jueves magazine with political comic strips and, since 2016, as a cartoonist for weekly gastronomic humour series Hay Hambre.

She’s worked for TV3’s Els Matins as a current affairs cartoonist and live illustrator. She’s also created illustrations and comic strips for various publications (Amaníaco, La Directa, El Salto, Núvol, Ara il·lustrat) and her work as a comic book author has been published by different publishers (Norma Cómics, Grijalbo, Fandogamia Editorial).
