Maria Rubert de Ventós

An architect and lecturer in Urban Planning at the Barcelona School of Architecture and in the master’s degree in Landscaping at the Technical University of Catalonia, she has worked, inter alia, on the extensions to the Spanish Parliament in Madrid, the leading project for the Olympic zone of the Avinguda del Diagonal in Barcelona, structuring the Besós-Mar area, and the Pla 22@ Perú-Pere IV. She is presently working on the project for the expansion of Cartagena and that of the urban centre of Pineda de Mar. She has taught in several universities in the United States, Chile, Germany and Italy. Among her publications is the recent work Places porxades a Catalunya (Squares with Archways in Catalonia) UPC, 2006.
