Laura Fernández

Laura Fernández is a writer, journalist and a cultural critic with a long career in the written press. She is also the author of the novels: Bienvenidos a Welcome (Elipsis, 2008), Wendolin Kramer (Seix Barral, 2011), La chica zombie (Seix Barral, 2013), El show de Grossman (Aristas Martínez, 2013), and Connerland (Literatura Random House, 2017). One of her major reference points is the science-fiction author Philip K. Dick. Her last book, La señora Potter no es exactamente Santa Claus (Literatura Random House, 2021), was awarded the El Ojo Crítico de Narrativa prize 2021 and is finalist of the 2021 Premi Finestres de Narrativa in Spanish.
