Laboratorio móvil

We are Carmela Marquez, Selene Roman and Celestina Alessio. We were born decades ago in south Abya Yala, but the three of us wound up together in Barcelona at the Impremta Col·lectiva de Can Batlló just over a year and a half ago. With qualifications or not, we work with communicating elements—graphic, visual, material, text—and combinations thereof. We are non-formal teachers—though we have also been formal ones—who rely on collective exchange, back-and-forth knowledge transfer, and meetings and debates. We have worked individually as workshop facilitators starting at different times, the earliest in 2010, which accounts for our pedagogical baggage, reinforced by our meeting and by the various workshops we have offered the community in different places/spaces/institutions in Barcelona and our countries of birth.
