Laboratori de Pensament Lúdic (LPL) came into being with “The Ideal Game”, a workshop at Hangar (Barcelona) in 2016, with the aim of developing games as multidisciplinary research tools using collective intelligence methodologies. At present, LPL is made up of Estel Cristià, Raúl Herrera, Constanza Mendoza, Rubén Moldes, Antonio R. Montesinos and Susana Rodilla.
In the course of these years, the LPL has created various projects which it has taken to the Museum für Naturkunde and the Fracto round table as part of the Occulto Programme, both in Berlin, Cultura y Ciudadanía in San Sebastian, the Instituto Mutante de Narrativas Ambientales in Matadero, the MACBA and various cultural venues in Catalonia. In 2017, the group was runner-up in the 2nd Barcelona International Prize for Cultural Innovation with the project “Gaia Roulette”, presented at the CCCB.
