Júlia Cot

Mataró, 1984. A graduate in Audiovisual Communication from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She has worked as a scriptwriter since the year 2006, always in the field of humour. She began her professional career at the producer El Terrat, where she worked on programmes such as “HomoZapping” and “Buenafuente”, for which she eventually took charge of coordination. Since 2011, she has been a scriptwriter for the political satire programme “Polònia”. Together with Jordi López she wrote the book Tria la teva crisi and she has participated in collective books such as Lo que vendría a ser la televisión en España and Jot Down 100: series teen imprescindibles. She has also been an article writer for Nació Digital and newspaper Ara. She is one of the partners and founders of the scriptwriters’ agency 12 monos.
