Joseph Hanimann

(Chur, Switzerland, 1952). A journalist, he has been Paris correspondent for Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung since 1986. He studied Philosophy in Geneva, Berlin and Paris and combines his journalistic work with teaching Political Science at the Institut d'Études Politiques in Paris. He has published several books including Vom Schweren. Ein geheimes Thema der Moderne (On Difficulty: A Secret Issue of Modern Times - Hanser Verlag, 1999) and, with Christian Salmon as co-author, Devenir minoritaire. Pour une nouvelle politique de la literature (Becoming Minority: For a New Politics of Literature - Èditions Denoël, 2003).
