Joan Safont

Journalist

A journalist and writer, he has a degree in Law from the Pompeu Fabra University and a master’s degree in Advanced Journalism and Reporting from the Blanquerna Faculty of Communication – Ramon Llull University. He is a news analyst in television and radio programmes including 3/24 and Via Lliure of RAC1. He also writes for publications like Ara, Avenç, and Crític, as well as publishing numerous books, among them Per França i Anglaterra. La Primera Guerra Mundial dels aliadòfils Catalans, about Catalonia’s support for the allies in the First World War (A Contra Vent, 2012), Sabotatge contra Franco (Angle, 2017), and Un exemple de diplomàcia cultural (Meteora, 2018).
