Javier Fernández López Pablo

Javier Fernández López Pablo (Alicante, 1973)

He holds a PhD in History from the University of Alicante (2005), was Post-doctoral Researcher at the Department of Anthropology at the University of California, Santa Barbara (2006-2009), Post-doctoral Researcher on the Torres de Quevedo (2009-2011) and Ramón y Cajal (2012-2016) programmes, the latter at the Catalan Institute of Human Paleo-ecology and Social Evolution (IPHES). From the 1 October he has directed an ERC-Consolidator Grant project on paleo-demographics during the Pleistocene-Holocene in the Iberian Peninsula, focusing on the study of socio-ecological dynamics and on the reconstruction of population dynamics, through the integrated study of paleo-environmental and archaeological sequences and the meta-analysis of archaeological data.
