A lecturer in Applied Economics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, he has carried out several studies on the causes and effects of urban dispersion, the impact of the economies of agglomeration and the Barcelona model of growth, among others. He has published articles in a wide range of publications, including Urban Studies, Ecological Economics, Urban Geography and Investigaciones Regionales.
