Iñaki Mur

Iñaki Mur (Barcelona, 1993) is well known for his acting in cinema, theatre, and television. He became known among the general public for playing Oliver Grau in the Catalan TV series Merlí (TV3, Netflix). He has been in TV dramas such as Drama (RTVE), Vestidas de azul (Dressed in Blue, Atresplayer), Polseres Vermelles (Red Bracelets, TV3), Santo (Netflix) and the soon-to-aired We were the lucky ones (Hulu, Disney+). In the theatre, he has starred in productions such as Rent (Focus), La jaula de las locas (La Cage aux Folles, Nostromo), Pegados (El Terrat) and El Petit Príncep (The Little Prince, La Perla 29). He has also acted in films such as El olivo (The Olive Tree), Animals, Solo química (Just a Little Chemistry) and El sitio de Otto (Otto’s Place), which he jointly produced and wrote the screenplay for, as well as playing a leading acting role.

After the experience gained from El sitio de Otto, he began audio-visual directing: making the music video for the song Cor petit – a single by musician Júlia Mills –; and writing and directing the short film Bye bye boy, currently being screened at festivals. Meanwhile, he has worked on various projects, such as his first feature film as director.

He combines his acting and directing with presenting the cultural podcast ‘Dentro’ (Inside) on Radio Primavera Sound and studying for a degree in Design and Digital Creation at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC).
