Ferran Ventura

Ferran Ventura is an economist by training and worked in economic consulting and auditing. He soon understood that his world was social transformation.

He is currently the coordinator of the organization alterNativa Intercanvi amb Pobles Indígenes where his specialization is the defense of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the contributions they make towards a more sustainable and more rational world.

In the field of the social economy, he has been a founding member of the Social Synergia Cooperative, creator of the Manresa Social Economy Business Incubator, among others, advisor on the viability of cooperative projects, professor at the Manresa Agricultural School of feasibility of agro-ecological projects and head of projects and manager of CIEMEN (Centre Internacional Escarré per a les Minories Ètniques i les Nacions).
