Ester Guntín - VAIKONUR
Choreographer and director
She is founder of the performing arts project VAIKONUR. Graduated in Humanities, in the Master in Comparative Studies of Art, Philosophy and Literature (MECLAP-UPF) and in Choreography by the Institut del Teatre, she works the body and the image on stage to go beyond the choreographic from pictorial, literary and philosophical references. Her duet Ararat (2019) has been awarded at the RIDCC Rotterdam International Duet Competition, ACT Festival Bilbao and Certamen Estruch. In 2022 she presented Terra Rhapsody at the CCCB and participated in the Choreolab Tanzlabour Ulm (Germany). Her piece Quiso negro won the Premio de Danza Insititut del Teatre 2023 and will premiere at the Festival Grec 2024. She participates as stage director in the project Ò(H)PERA at the Gran Teatro del Liceo. She has collaborated with Marcos Morau (La Veronal), Sílvia Delagneau, Marta Pazos and Joan Morey, among others.
