Elena Molina

Director and screenwriter

With a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, she completed her training at the Università Degli Studi di Perugia and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, as well as taking a Master in Direct Cinema with Frederick Wiseman (ECAM) and doing workshops with Patricio Guzmán, Belkis Bega and Nicolàs Philibert. She has directed the short documentaries, Yungay7020 (2021), All I Need is a Ball (2020) and Laatash (2019) and the feature film Rêve de Mousse, which have been selected by and won prizes at various international festivals. She has just released the documentary series "El robo del códice" for RTVE and Remember my Name, at the Malaga Festival, her second feature documentary, selected by ESoDoc and the Work in Progress sections of festivals such as DOKLeipzig, DocumentaMadrid (final cut award) and Atlàntida Film Fest (best WIP award). In 2023 she has directed a piece for "City Symphonies" (CCCB and Dones Visuals) entitled Querida A.
