David Castellano

He is a computational biologist specialized in population genetics and molecular evolution. He received his PhD from the Institute of Biotechnology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Genomic Regulation with the researcher Donate Weghorn. Throughout his academic career he has worked in laboratories in the UK and Denmark. He is also interested in the dissemination work to highlight the importance of understanding and being able to describe the patterns of variation in the DNA of the different species on the planet.
